| Description |
English: 1969 Lotus Seven "S". 1600cc Holbay-tuned Ford "CFR" engine. 120bhp at 6,200rpm, thanks to twin Weber 40DCOE2 carburettors, R120 high-lift camshaft, a 10.0:1 compression ratio, a gas-flowed cylinder head, and special balancing. This is chassis SB2402, the show car for a better equipped Seven - this car has an ivory top, brushed aluminium dash and added padding on the inside, plus a push-button radio with a peaker in the boot and other unspeakable luxuries (seat belts! heater!). The paint is Rolls-Royce Regal Red metallic. First registered in February 1969, it was shown at the January 1970 Racing Car Show. At £1600 it proved too pricy and remained a one-off. |
