Louisburgh in Co. Mayo, naturally given this is the Wynn Collection, which looks like a monastic settlement out in the countryside. I have always wondered about the name and suspect that it was indeed a settlement, an artificial town created by settlers in the area? It looks impressive in it's splendid isolation!
