Description
English: U.S. Soldiers assigned to the 527th Engineer Battalion, 844th Engineer Company, Louisiana Army National Guard, use a track loader and a dump truck to fill a land bridge with sand behind a rock wall along Thunder Bayou on Elmer's Island near Grand Isle, La., July 14, 2010. The land bridge will be used to transport personnel and supplies along the coast in support of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill cleanup efforts.
