| Description |
English: Low tide, Afon Teifi. Cardigan was at one time the pre-eminent port in Wales with ships setting sail from here around the world. The arrival of the railway and the silting up of the river marked the collapse of maritime trade. Now pleasure boats are making use of the harbour instead.
