English: A four floor building on Lowenstrasse 16, Coburg
Deutsch: Der Baumeister Johann Michael Probst errichtete 1902 in manieristischer Formensprache das dreigeschossige Mietswohnhaus. Die Fassade des aufwändig dekorierten Gebäudes besteht aus Ziegel mit Sandsteingliederungen und wird in der Löwenstraße durch einen zweigeschossigen, dreiseitigen Erker geprägt, dessen reich verzierter Fuß zwischen den Fenstern des gebänderten Erdgeschosses ansetzt. Die Erkerfenster sind segmentbogig mit Säulen gestaltet. Den Erkerabschluss bildet oben eine Altane mit einer Balusterbrüstung, dahinter steht das steile Mansarddach, durchdrungen von einem zweiachsigen Zwerchhaus mit Eckpilastern, Konsolgebälk und gesprengtem Volutengiebel. Der Erker wird beidseitig durch eine Fensterachse flankiert, deren Fenster durch Pilaster beidseitig gefasst im ersten Obergeschoss gesprengte Schweifgiebel über Konsolstürzen und im zweiten Obergeschoss verkröpfte Architrave aufweisen. Der Hauseingang zeichnet sich durch ein doppeltes Oberlicht und einen Architrav auf Schultersteinen aus. Dahinter befindet sich ein langgezogener Hausflur mit Spiegeldecke. Die Seiten sind schlichter, mit mittig angeordneten Dreiergruppen von Fenstern, oben durch Zwerchhäuser abgeschlossen, gestaltet. Links wird die Fenstergruppe zusätzlich durch Pilaster eingerahmt.
