English: Lowestoft: Britains most easterly waves A choppy sea brings crashing waves to Lowestoft Ness, the most easterly point of the UK as confirmed by the message "Britain's Most Easterly Point" in the centre of the 'Euroscope' marking the location. The Euroscope has around its circumference a compass with dots at 11¼º intervals and numerous distance markers to major European towns, each pointing in the relevant direction. |
