Description
English: Aerial view of the city center of Rotterdam, with the Cool district near Schiedamsedijk, Leuvehaven, Scheepmakershaven and Wijnhaven in the foreground. Further on the Oudehaven and the Haringvliet. The emptiness a few years after the bombing can still be clearly seen in the city centre. Year: 1946.
Nederlands: Luchtopname van de binnenstad van Rotterdam, met op de voorgrond het stadsdeel Cool bij de Schiedamsedijk, de Leuvehaven, de Scheepmakershaven en de Wijnhaven. Verderop de Oudehaven en het Haringvliet. De leegte een aantal jaar na het bombardement is nog goed te zien in de binnenstad. Jaar: 1946.
