Deutsch: Gedenkstein am früheren Standpunkt der Lübbecker Synagoge / an der Einfahrt zum Parkhaus Ost. Inschrift des Gedenksteines: "Gedenke des Opfers, das jüdische Bürger mit dem Leben brachten". Inschrift der Gedenkplatte vor dem Stein: "Jahrhundertelang haben Juden in dieser Stadt leben können, in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus aber nahmen Mitmenschen ihnen die Bürgerrechte, den Besitz und manchen auch das Leben. Verfolgt wurden die Familien: Löwenstein, Mansbach, Hurwitz, Wolff, Bloch, Weinberg, Schöndelen, Levy, Mergentheim, Neustädter, Steinberg, Ruben, Hecht, Lazarus, Rosenberg, Schöneberg. Ihre Leiden verpflichten uns zu Toleranz und politischer Wachsamkeit. Der Herr sprach zu Kain: Wo ist dein Bruder Abel? Er sprach: Ich weiss es nicht, soll ich meines Bruders Hüter sein?
