English: Lychgate Development, Worcester. Viewed from the top of the cathedral tower. The Lychgate area of the city was flattened in the late 1960s and the Giffard Hotel, car park and shopping complex was erected. The row of treetops shows the now pedestrianised high street which was once the main A38 road from Derby to Plymouth before the M5 motorway was built. |
