Rückseite: Ddänävälä [„Hüter des Glaubens“ in lykischer Schrift]. Kopf der Athena mit Helm mit Lorbeerkranz und Ohrring nach r.

Kommentar: Lykien wurde seit alters her von einem Priestergeschlecht beherrscht, dessen Abhängigkeit vom persischen Großkönig gering blieb. Der Einfluss persischer Bildtradition auf die früheren lykischen Herrscherbilder wie dem des Ddänävälä ist ebenso signifikant wie deren Ablehnung unter Perikles im vierten Jahrhundert. Der lykische Name Ddänävälä bedeutet „Hüter des Glaubens“.
