English: Lyndhurst-Denny Lodge driftway west of Park Hill, New Forest. This off-road cycle route runs along the driftway that connects Lynhurst to Denny Lodge. This view, with its mature oak trees, is looking in the direction of Lyndhurst. This part of the forest was once within "Park Pale" or Lyndhurst Old Deer Park, whose boundary was marked by a large bank and ditch (which still remains in places). |
