Description
Español: Placa conmemorativa dedicada a Victoria Kent en su lugar de nacimiento. La placa se encuentra a la altura del número 25 de la calle Lagunillas, Málaga, España. Victoria Kent nació en el entonces número 17 de la calle, una casa hoy desaparecida, a la altura de la actual plaza Miguel de los Reyes. La inscripción dice: «Victoria Kent Siano (1892-1987) / nació en la calle Lagunillas. Fue una de las / primeras abogadas españolas y la primera en / ejercer ante un tribunal militar. Diputada en la / II República, fue también directora general / de prisiones. Marchó al exilio / y murió en Nueva York». La placa se inauguró el 19 de julio de 2022 y forma parte del plan de placas 'Málaga hace historia' del Ayuntamiento de Málaga, cuyo objetivo es señalizar los principales hitos históricos, lugares de nacimiento o residencia de los personajes más relevantes y edificios singulares de la ciudad.
