Notes Mention écrite : "Höchst, ouvrage de Melchior, 1770" Ce serait soit un original, soit une copie en Sèvres d'une porcelaine de la Manufacture de Frankfurt-Höchst où œuvrait Johann Peter Melchior depuis 1768. Le prince électeur serait sans doute (ressemblance et date) l'archévèque de Mayence, Johann Friedrich Karl von Ostein (1689-1763), commanditaire de la manufacture.
