English: Gallicanae (Rosa subgenus Cynorodon, section Gallicanae) includes the Stambolski rose (Rosa gallica) and several related hybrids used for the production of rose oil. Worldwide, rose oil is produced from 4 roses: Rosa damascena, Rosa centifolia, Rosa gallica and Rosa alba. The Kazanlak rose (R. damascena var. Trigintipetala) is a descendant of Rosa damascena. |

Маслодайната роза се отнася към сем. Розоцветни (Rosaceae), род Rosa L., подрод Cynorodon, секция Gallicanae. Като маслодайни в света се отглеждат 4 вида — Rosa damascena, Rosa centifolia (столистна роза), Rosa gallica и Rosa alba. От потомството на Rosa damascena е излъчена Казанлъшката роза (R. damascena var. trigintipetala).
