Description
English: M108 Flip Chip (trademark) module from a PDP-8/L computer, component side. The legend "FLIP CHIP" is included in the etch, despite the fact flip chip mounting technology was not used in the monolithic integrated circuits supporting the Transistor-transistor logic used on M-series modules. This module was described as a "Flag module" and it contains a several flip flops plus supporting circuitry. The manufacturing date stamped on the module is "FEB 22 1972".
