Summary

edit
Description These were special assault versions of the US Army's favorite M4, the A3 with the 450-500hp Ford V8. Armor so thick that German tank and anti-tank guns couldn't kill them. Not very mobile. Vehicles to apply shock, maneuver and fire to break open fixed defenses. The added mass wore out their suspensions, but the 280-something built were used willingly and considered successful.
