Description

El ministro de Defensa, Pedro Cateriano Bellido, despidió al XXII contingente de la Compañía Perú que partirá a Haití a cumplir tareas de seguridad y operaciones de paz, como parte de la Misión de Naciones Unidas para la Estabilización (MINUSTAH) en el mencionado país.


En el Cuartel General del Ejército en San Borja, el titular del sector entregó el gallardete distintivo al comandante del contingente de “Cascos Azules” peruanos, el Teniente Coronel EP Mao Córdova.


El contingente está integrado por 216 miembros de las Fuerzas Armadas (110 del Ejército, 61 de la Marina de Guerra y 45 de la Fuerza Aérea) que permanecerán en Haití durante seis meses.
