Description

El Ministro de Defensa Jakke Valakivi, acompañó al Presidente Ollanta Humala en la ceremonia de graduación de cadetes y clausura del año académico de la Escuela Militar de Chorrillos.

En esta oportunidad se graduaron 187 cadetes de la promoción “Capitán de Caballería Edwin Rudy Cáceres Silva” de la Escuela Militar de Chorrillos, de los cuales tres son de nacionalidad panameña. La espada de honor en mérito a su desempeño académico correspondió al Cadete, Alonso Marden Villegas Espinoza.

El Presidente Humala entregó sables y despachos a los nuevos oficiales y subtenientes del Ejército Peruano.

Durante su discurso, el jefe de Estado, resaltó el esfuerzo que viene realizando el Gobierno respecto a políticas de defensa nacional específicamente en el área de inversión en el recurso humano, en infraestructura y equipamiento de las Fuerzas Armadas y Policía Nacional.
