| Description |
English: The photo shows a view across the Northern sector of the Bisley Ranges. On the skyline, just to the right of the white building, can been seen the Wembley Arch. Occupying most of the Chobham Ridges on the Surrey Heath, an upland area of the nationally rare soil type (see soilscape) acid, wet heathland and so allows only rare gorse as well as heather and silver birch to grow. Where sandier it also allow pine plantations. |
