Summary edit

Description
English: Deicer Car RD441 is readied for snow work at the 38 St Yard on Sat., January 30, 2021. Originally built between 1962 and 1963 as an R-33 on the IRT line, the car is now designated as an R-161. Coupled with a locomotive, it sprays propylene glycol on the third rail to keep it free of ice during winter weather.
