Description
English: Detail of a late-19th-century altar supporting the so-called cenotaph of Monulph and Gondulph in the East Crypt lapidarium of the Basilica of Saint Servatius in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The cenotaph was burried in the 17th century and rediscovered by the architect Pierre Cuypers in the late 19th century. The Romanesque Revival altar was designed by Cuypers.
