Description
English: Border marker in the court yard of a former canon's house at Sint Servaasklooster 32 in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The stone (perhaps not an original) marked the outer borders of the claustrale singel, the area in the city of Maastricht which up till 1797 fell under the jurisdiction of the chapter of Saint Servatius. The key of Saint Servatius depicted on the marker was the symbol of the chapter, also appearing on their coat of arms. The Jerusalem cross on the other side is a detail of the key.
