Description
Nederlands: Gezicht op Wyck en Maastricht vanaf het torentje van Villa Wyckerveld, die in 1879-1880 werd gebouwd. Op de voorgrond de spoorwegovergang van de spoorlijn Maastricht-Luik (het station lag toen een stuk noordelijker). Daarachter de voormalige gordel van vestingwerken (in 1867 opgeheven en daarna gesloopt). Daarachter het stadsdeel Wyck (nog zonder de Percée/Stationsstraat, die pas vanaf 1882 zou worden aangelegd). Fotocollectie RHCL Maastricht, RAL P-0097-001.
