Summary edit

Description
English: Maastricht, the Netherlands. Scale model of Maastricht in the late-Roman period, after the construction of the castrum (313). The 1992 model by F. Schiffeleers is partly based on archaeological excavations (bridge, roads and castrum left bank), partly on extrapolation (Wyck castrum, some buildings). This view shows the Jeker river delta south of the castrum. Photographed in Centre Céramique, November 2014.
