Liberation tree and plaque commemorating the liberation of Maastricht on 13-14 September, 1944, by units of the US 30th Infantry Division ("Old Hickory"). The hickory tree (Carya) was planted in 1989 in Old Hickoryplein in the Wyckerpoort quarter of Maastricht, the Netherlands.
