Description
English: The Matador-Mace missile. From the source: This large missile was about the same size and weight of a small jet fighter. It was capable of carrying a conventional or nuclear warhead. The first Matador launch was in 1955 with the first Mace in 1959. The main difference was in their guidance systems. In Feb. 1958 a Matador was launched from White Sands and flew to Wendover Air Force Base in Utah.
