| Description |
English: Macedonia Baptist Church, 235 East North Street at Locust Street, Buffalo, New York, April 2020. The result of an abrupt merger of the Maple Street and Glenwood Avenue Baptist Churches, whose pastors both resigned their posts within a few months of each other in 1931, the humble yet handsome English Gothic-style building seen here was formally dedicated in just under two years' time. The congregation endured until 1973 and thereafter became the new home of Macedonia Baptist Church, who'd earlier been using the immensely historic Michigan Street Baptist Church on a temporary basis. |
