Description
MahaDeviBot 12 armed robotic drummer
I got the chance to shoot this during the taping of a live performance of Karmetik Underground. The theater audience was cleared for the taping and I got a chance to stick around to take photos. In the centre is the band's 12 armed robotic drummer called MahaDeviBot. Left to right is Ajay on sitar, Emily on vocals, Peter on bass, Manj on robot and other stuff, and Jess keyboard and other stuff. On the technical side, I had to shoot this wide open on my 20mm F2.8 at ISO 1600. Hence there is a lot of grain. There was too much motion to expose any longer. I've learned that concert photography is very difficult and this was easy one since the lighting was fixed.
