Deutsch: Mahnmal gegen Faschismus, Krieg und Gewalt von Esther und Jochen Gerz in Hamburg-Harburg. Das Mahnmal besteht aus einem gemauerten Sockel an der Unterführung am Harburger Ring zur Straße Sand und einer Stele. Die Stele befand sich anfangs auf dem Sockel, nachdem Bürger/innen ihre Namen auf der Stele verewigt hatten wurde sie schrittweise abgesenkt bis sie am Ende ganz im Sockel verschwand. Die Tafel rechts neben der Tür dokumentiert die Jahreszahlen, wann dies geschah. Einweihung des Mahnmals war im Oktober 1986, die letzte Absenkung geschah im November 1993. Im Foto die Tafel mit den Daten der Einweihung 1986 bis zur letzten Absenkung im November 1993. This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
