Deutsch: Vorderseite: IO ADAM D G ARCHIEPS MOGV PRINCI ELECT. Umschrift zwischen zwei Perlkreisen, im Feld das quadrierte und dreifach behelmte erzbischöfliche Wappen von Mainz und Bicken.

Rückseite: MONETA NOVA ARGE-NTEA MOGVNTI 1602. Umschrift zwischen zwei Zierkreisen. Im Feld nach links reitender Heiliger Martin, seinen Mantel mit einem am Boden sitzenden Bettler mit Krücke teilend.

Kommentar: Die Taler mit der Darstellung des Heiligen Martin kommen sehr oft in gehenkelter Form vor (hier wurde der Henkel entfernt), sie wurden als Schmuck bzw. Talisman getragen. - Johann Adam von Bicken hatte das Amt des Mainzer Erzbischofs nur für wenige Jahre vom 15. Mai 1601 bis zu seinem Tode am 10. Januar 1604 inne.
