Le 28 mars 2007 un maçon portugais, y a découvert un trésor de 374 pièces d'or et d'argent, frappées de François Ier à Louis XIV ainsi que des pièces d'or espagnoles. Ce trésor, d'un poids de cinq kilos, aurait été caché vers 1661, sous une ardoise près de la cheminée. Le 6 juin 2008, 295 de ces pièces ont été vendues aux enchères pour près de 300 000 euros.
