Without a doubt, breakfast is different throughout the world. Some might have that normal American breakfast, some have rice, but for us in Malaysia, noodles are the main meal for breakfast. Every coffee shop in the country sells what we call "kon lau men", meaning dry noodles. There is also a choice of having soup with noddles, and the mix varies. It could be beef, fish and in this case, pork. And then, there is again a few type of noodles to go with your 'kon lau men'. The mix here is entirely pork - BBQ pork, roasted pork, pork roll, and dumplings. To top it all up are some spring onions and fried crispy shallots.
