Description
English: Two human chromosomes 3 during Spermatogenesis, more precisely during Zygotene, a stage during prophase of meiose I. Short arms (blue) are already paired, the long arms (red) not yet. In addition telomeres are labeled inversely. Autofluorescence in green.

The image is 10 µm wide. Projection of confocal images from a testis section which contained a seminoma and normal tubuli. The image is from the normal area. Detection of chromosome arms and telomeres with fluorescence in situ hybridization.
