English: Malta- Gunners Resting between Alerts at a Heavy Aa Post

image: Eight British soldiers within the interior of a Heavy Anti-Aircraft post. The two men in the foreground are both lying on beds, the one on the left covered with a mosquito net. One man is walking down the steps that lead down into the room from the entrance on the right, whilst another takes off his shirt ready to go to bed. Another man sits on the end of a bed polishing his boots. Most of the beds are covered with mosquito nets and there are further unused nets suspended from the ceiling and tied into

balls.
