Русский: На данной рукописной карте изображена крепость Сан-Себастьян на острове Мозамбик — небольшом, но стратегически важном острове у побережья Африканского континента. Крепость была построена в XVI веке португальцами, которые превратили остров в крупный торговый порт. Крепость была построена в итальянском стиле из местных материалов и включала в себя сложную систему сбора дождевой воды, необходимой для компенсации нехватки пресной воды на острове. Эта карта была составлена в 1741 году, когда португальцы планировали реконструкцию крепости с целью включения в нее новых оборонных сооружений. Крепость была включена в список объектов Всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО в 1991 году.

La forteresse a été construite au XVIe siècle par les Portugais, qui ont fait de l'île un grand port de commerce. La structure était conçue dans un style à l'italienne à partir de matériaux locaux, et comportait un système complexe de collecte des eaux de pluie, nécessaire pour compenser le manque d'eau douce sur l'île. Cette carte date de 1741, au moment où les Portugais envisageaient une rénovation de la forteresse afin d'y intégrer de nouvelles structures de défense. La forteresse a été inscrite sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO en 1991.

The fortress was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese, who developed the island into a major trading port. The structure was constructed in an Italianate style out of local materials, and incorporated an intricate system of collecting rainwater, needed to compensate for the island's lack of fresh water. This map was drawn in 1741, as the Portuguese were planning a renovation of the fortress to incorporate new defense structures. The fortress was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991.

Este mapa se trazó en 1741, cuando los portugueses planeaban renovar la fortaleza para incorporar nuevas estructuras defensivas. La fortaleza pasó a ser Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO en 1991.
