English: Marble capital. From Madīnat az-Zahrā near Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain. The name of the builder, Abd al-Rahman III (founder of the Caliphate of Córdoba, r. 929-961), was mentioned. The names of the building manager (Shunaif) and sculptor (Fatih) were also written. Mid-10th century CE. Islamic Art Museum (Museum für Islamische Kunst), Berlin, Germany.
