Français : Marcel Cachin (1869-1958), photographié en 1918, fut l'un des fondateurs du Parti communiste français au congrès de Tours en 1920. Député de 1914 à 1932 puis de 1946 à sa mort, il dirigea L'Humanité de 1918 à 1958. Épreuve non recadrée, tirée à partir d'un négatif sur verre aux dimensions de 13x18 cm environ.
English: ]Marcel Cachin (1869-1958), photographed in 1918, was one of the founders of the French Communist Party in 1920. Editor of the newspaper L'Humanité from 1918 to 1958, he was a deputy from 1914 to 1932 and from 1946 to 1958. Uncropped print, from a 5x7 inches glass negative.
