English: Marketplace of Bremen in 1796; except of the of the Börse (stock exchange), the built up areas are almost the same as in 1638;
coloured rays:
  • Green = pretended but impossible view of Merian's presentation
  • Red, lilac & blue = possible points of view excluding one or more features, each.
Deutsch: Bremer Marktplatz 1796, nachbearbeiteter Ausschnitt aus dem Stadtplan von Carl Ludwig Murtfeldt;
Gebäudeflächen abgesehen von der Alten Börse wie 1638;
farbige Strahlen:
  • grün = fiktive Sichtlinien der Darstellung des Marktplatzes von Matthäus Merian dem Älteren
  • andere Farben = mögliche Blickwinkel, denen jeweils wichtige Objekte entgehen
  • daraus rot = nach Merians Stich zu rekonstruierende Zeichnerpositionen
