Description
English: Portrait of Louise-Adéone Drölling, aged 15, by her father, Martin Drölling. This charming life-sized portrait, of which only the central part is shown here, was rather exhausting for the sitter, who, in a letter, complained that her hand got quite stiff after having held the mug for hours on end. Adéone later (and like her brother) became a skilled painter herself.
