English: Map with places and areas related to the battle of Massacre Canyon, August 5, 1873, where Oglala and Brule Lakotas attacked a moving camp of Pawnees in southernmost Nebraska. Basic map improved by Indianertosset. Areas 191, 270 and 408 are territories ceeded by the Pawnee in 1833, 1848 and 1857.
