Author Escarlati. (Adobe Photoshop), basado en una estampa, grabado calcográfico de 1599 de Perret, Pedro (1555-ca. 1625). (Firma del autor, en la parte escorzada de la mesa donde apoya el libro) Iconografía Hispana 213-1 - Barcia. Retratos 40-1. Busto. Apoya la mano izquierda sobre un libro cerrado, en cuyo corte dice: "Cor. Ta." (Cornelius Tácitus). Con la derecha señala la linda cartela que hay en uno de los ángulos superiores de la estampa con el emblema de la araña sobre el áspid, y la letra: "Ab insidiis non est prudentia". Haciendo juego con esta cartela, está en el otro ángulo el escudo de armas. Apoya la mano izquierda sobre un libro cerrado, en cuyo corte dice: "Cor. Ta." (Cornelius Tacitus). Con la derecha señala la linda cartela que hay en uno de los ángulos superiores de la estampa con el emblema de la araña.
