Description
Français : Plaque du Souvenir français et de la Commission de la Capitale-Nationale du Québec devant le mausolée de Louis-Joseph, marquis de Montcalm, au cimetière de l'Hôpital-Général de Québec.

Texte de la plaque: «À LOUIS-JOSEPH MARQUIS DE MONTCALM 1712-1759 Commandant des forces françaises en Amérique pendant la Guerre de Sept Ans, le lieutenant-général Louis-Joseph marquis de Montcalm succomba le 14 s eptembre 1759 aux blessures reçues la veille à la bataille des Plaines d'Abraham. Sa dépouille fut inhumée le soir même dans la chapelle du monastère des Ursulines de Québec. Le 11 octobre 2001, les restes de Montcalm furent solennellement transférés dans ce mausolée.

Il repose désormais auprès de ses soldats tombés avec lui devant Québec pour la défense de la Nouvelle-France.»
