This is a cropped and contrast-enhanced version of an image from the Library of Congress online collection (see catalog information below). As the work of a US Government agency, copyright restrictions do not apply. The Library of Congress records this photograph as taken in 1931, but this cannot be so, as Valier died in 1930.
