| Description |
English: Meadow in the Lledr valley. There are some meadows and arable land in the valley bottom near the confluence of the Afon Lledr and the Ceunant Ty'n y Ddol.
The rivers run W to E through the centre of the square, with the confluence just west of the centre. The small village of Blaenau Dolwyddelan is located along a minor road along the N edge, and the Llandudno Jn to Blaenau Ffestiniog railway crosses the southern half. A local told me that archeological investigations have brought evidence that the valley was one of the first in Snowdonia to be inhabited during the iron age. |
