DescriptionMechanical Fuel Injection 1979 (1715756417).jpg |
My father worked on this project (known as PROCO) for Ford engines when he was at American Bosch Arma. Mechanical fuel injection was used to increase economy over the carbed engine by 25%. Project was cancelled while factory was under construction in Northern Kentucky. AMBAC is not part of Bosch in europe, but separated early in the 20th century. AMBAC made diesel FI, however. www.museumofamericanspeed.com/ |
