Snell, Coldstream Guards silver medal; ornate swivelling suspender; four bars; with ribbon obverse- diademed head of Queen Victoria; legend- VICTORIA REGINA and date- 1854 reverse- the standing figure of a Roman warrior with shield and short sword being crowned with laurel by the winged figure of Victory; word CRIMEA on lhs bars- ornate oak leaf and acorn pattern bars in form of oak leaves- ALMA - BALAKLAVA - INKERMANN - SEBASTOPOL markings- obverse- name of designer- W.
