Description
English: An iconic image of the telecommuter: feet up, casually dressed, she enjoys a park and listens to music as she works. This would have been virtually impossible in an office setting, but a combination of technologies make it commonplace for the telecommuter -- including wifi, cellphones, laptop computers and e-mail.
Français : Image emblématique du télétravailleur : pieds nus et vêtue de façon décontractée, cette télétravailleuse peut bénéficier d'un environnement agréable parc où travailler de manière plus détendue en écoutant de la musique sans subir les déplacements pendulaires imposés à d'autres travailleurs. Cela était et reste rarement possible dans un environnement de bureau classique, mais une combinaison de technologies devenues banales pour le télétravailleur (wifi, téléphones cellulaires, ordinateurs portables et e-mail...) permettent de nouvelles manières de travailler, adaptées à certains métiers (rédaction, veille, analyse de textes ou dossiers, etc.).
