Summary edit

Description
English: Melverley Church. This lovely timber framed St Peter's Church is right on the banks of the River Vyrnwy/Afon Eryrnwy. Hardly any part of the structure is perpendicular or at right angles to any other! According to a plaque this has been a place of worship for over 1000 years. The church was burnt to the ground by Owain Glyndŵr in 1406 and subsequently rebuilt.
