Description
English: In the nave of St Andrew's Church, Bingham's Melcombe, a memorial to Robert Morris, 'colporteur' of the Bible Society. The inscription reads:

MAY THE LORD RUN, AND BE GLORIFIED. ERECTED BY A FEW FRIENDS OF THE BRITISH & FOREIGN BIBLE SOCIETY IN MEMORY OF ROBERT MORRIS ITS FAITHFUL COLPORTEUR; WHO CIRCULATED MORE THAN 70,000 VOLUMES DURING 14 YEARS OF LOVING LABOUR IN DORSET AND ELSEWHERE. HE ENTERED INTO REST AD 1875 AGED 84.
