Description
English:

Over Labor Day weekend 1918, Frederick & Nelson store employees removed every piece of merchandise from the Rialto Building store on Second Avenue and Madison and trucked it over to the new store at Fifth and Pine. The new store opened for business to waiting crowds at 9 o'clock in the morning on September 3. This photo shows a large group of Frederick & Nelson employees sitting on and around delivery trucks on the store's moving day.
